Paleo Avocado Fries

After another one of my trips to Costco, I had a bag full of ripe avocados that needed to be eaten and I was scouring websites online trying to find a new use for these healthy fruits. That’s when I stumbled on the idea for a paleo version of avocado fries. They couldn’t be easier to make and are a perfect snack or meal that will satisfy your fat tooth.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes


  • 3 ripe avocados pitted, peeled and sliced into wedges

  • 2 cups of almond flour

  • 2 tsp of paprika

  • 2 tsp of salt

  • 2 eggs

  • Avocado oil - enough to fill 1 inch of the pan

  • 1 cup of paleo mayonnaise (recipe here!)

  • 2 tsp of hot sauce (I used Frank’s Hot Sauce)


  1. Combine almond flour, paprika and salt on a plate or bowl

  2. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl

  3. Dip avocado slices into the egg mixture and then coat all sides in the almond flour mixture

  4. Heat avocado oil in saucepan until hot

  5. Carefully put the coated avocado slices in the pan but make sure there is space between the slices

  6. Cook avocado slices about one minute per side

  7. Put cooked avocado slices on a plate with a paper towel until all avocado slices are cooked

  8. Combine hot sauce and mayonnaise into a small dish to use as a dipping sauce

  9. Enjoy!
